I went to the river today to try to get some pictures of the eagles. I did manage to get a couple decent ones. I am hoping to go back and try again this weekend. Here are my attempts from today.

An immature Bald Eagle.

mode: shutter priority ~ f/8 ~ 1/640 ~ ISO-200 ~ 280mm

Mature Bald Eagle
mode: shutter priority ~ f/6.3 ~ 1/1000 ~ ISO-200 ~ 270mm
Canadian Goose... he looks older (maybe it's the extra white).
mode: shutter priority ~ f/5.6 ~ 1/1000 ~ ISO-360 ~ 300mm
I love this little duck couple... both standing on one leg on the ice like they are very cold.
mode: shutter priority ~ f/5 ~ 1/1000 ~ ISO-360 ~ 270mm
And... my attempt at being artistic.
mode: aperture priority ~ f/4.5 ~ 1/640 ~ ISO-200 ~ 70mm

Gorgeous shots! We have all these waterfowl and eagels here, too, but don't get to see many ducks or geese this time of year - most have gone south for the winter.

I really like your bridge shot, too - well done on all your shots :D !
